What is Amino Vital?
Amino Vital is a leader in sport nutrition science. The Amino Vital family of products is designed to help athletes achieve their full potential and more.
How to use?
When should I take Amino Vital?
Studies have shown that taking a serving of Amino Vital 30 minutes prior to exercising raises the blood amino acid level. Once your body kicks into high gear, there’s already a pool of amino acids your cells will need ready to be used.
How many servings should I take for my physical activity?
You should take at least one serving prior to your activity. However taking an additional serving while you exercise can prolong or improve your performance. Another great way to use Amino Vital is by taking one serving as soon as you are done. This will help you come back stronger the next day and be ready for the next challenge.
How is Amino Vital different from protein?
It’s true that protein contains the five key amino acids found in Amino Vital, but it also has other amino acids and other ingredients that aren’t vital for your athletic performance—they are added calories. Plus, protein takes time to breakdown. And you need to take in more protein for the optimal amount of the five key amino acids you can find in Amino Vital. You can say that Amino Vital is more efficient than protein in giving you the benefits you need when you need them.
Ingredients
What are amino acids?
Simply put, amino acids are the source of life: they are the building blocks of all protein, whether it's the protein making up the muscles and organs in your body, or the protein you consume as food. Your cells need amino acids to carry out basic, necessary cell functions and to construct new proteins that will compose tissue and organs in your body.
What are BCAAs?
BCAAs are Branched Chain Amino Acids. There are three kinds of BCAAs: Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. They are three of the five key amino acids in Amino Vital. BCAAs play a vital role in promoting recovery, rebuilding muscles, fueling the body, and maintaining focus.
What are glutamine and arginine?
Glutamine and Arginine are the remaining two key amino acids. They work to remove harmful toxins, improve antioxidant activity, and strengthen the body's immune functions.
What is maltodextrin?
Maltodextrin is a form of carbohydrate used as a food additive. It is produced from starch.
Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed slowly into the body to avoid a spike in sugar levels.
What is aspartame?
Aspartame is a low calorie sweetener that helps people to control their weight. It is made from two building blocks of protein, just like those found naturally in many everyday foods such as meat, fish, cheese, eggs and milk. Aspartame is digested by the body in exactly the same way as these other protein foods and so does not bring anything new to our diet. It has been safety-tested in over 200 studies and has been approved for use in foods and drinks by more than 100 countries.
Amino Vital uses aspartame for Mix & Shake, Focus Zone, Fast Charge, and Pro Charge.
Amino Vital doesn't use aspartame for Conditioning caplet and Endurance.
